Tax Groups

A tax group holds 1 or more tax codes so that the system now supports multiple tax codes being applied to an item. It also supports a compounded tax – that is includes the tax amount from previous calculations. However, multiple tax codes in a group are not supported in non-US tax systems.

Tax Group

Unique tax group code.

Description

Name of tax group.

Tax Code

Unique tax code. In non-US tax systems existing tax codes can be amended but no new codes can be added as multiple tax codes is not allowed.

Sequence

Indicates the order of applying tax codes when multiple tax codes are added for a tax group.

Is Compounded

Indicates whether the previous tax total is included in the tax calculation.
