Discounts - Reward 2

This type of reward allows you to give a discount on very specific items.

You can specify up to two rewards for the discount/offer, for example get a free lipstick and mascara. To allow this, there is a Reward 1 section for the first reward and a Reward 2 section for the second reward. Both sections work the same way. If you don't need a second reward, leave the details empty.

No. of Reward Items

This will normally be 1 but you can set it as high as you want. You will only be rewarded for as many items as you purchased. If you purchase 2 units you will only be rewarded for 2, even if this setting is 4.

First Item

The order in which the discountable item(s) are to be determined (in Sequence, Highest Price, Lowest Price order).

Discount Allocation

If this option is checked on, the value of the discount will be distributed to all the items which qualified for the discount. If it is checked off, the discount is only applied to the actual reward items.

The reward items grid lists the items that can be given as a reward. You can enter as many different items as you want.

Order/Priority

The sequence that the items should be processed in. If you want to give a certain item as a reward before any others give it a lower number here. The lines are process from lowest to highest order. This number is only used in the First Order Sequence is set to 'Sequence'.

Dept/Cat/Group/SubGroup

The department/category/group/subgroup the item must belong to be given as a reward. If you only enter a department code, all items in the department will be considered.

Classification

The classification the item must belong to in order to be given as a reward.

Family

The family the item must belong to in order to be given as a reward.

Item Number

The number of the specific item to give as a reward.

Brand Name

The brand name of the item to give as a reward.

Season/Year

The season/year or the item to give as a reward. Used for example to give end of season items as a reward for buying new stock.

Reward Type

Indicates the type of reward. This can be either a Discount or a Sell Price. If you select Discount, then the selected item is discounted by the specified % or $ discount. If you select Sell Price, then the selected item is discounted so that you get the specified sell price. These are equivalent to the Discount and Effective Price options but apply only to the reward item not to all qualifying items.

Disc Rate

If you selected a Reward Type of Discount then this is the discount rate to be used. It can either be a % rate of a dollar value.

Disc Type

If you selected a Reward Type of Discount then this is the discount type. It indicates whether you are giving a % or $ discount.

Sell Price

If you selected a Reward Type of Sell Price then this is the sell price that you want the item to be repriced to.
