Expiring Points

Its common practice that points given to a loyalty member only last for a certain amount of time. You can define rules (using Points Expiry Rules) to indicate how long points will be available before expiring. As points are recorded, the system will calculate the expiry date and record it with each transaction. You can use the Bulk Account Adjustments process to check for expired points. This will create an adjustment to remove any expired points.

The total number of a customers Loyalty points that are due to expire (as part of the MEMPTS account) can be printed on a till receipt if required. Options can be found within the Account Settings section on the Profile - Printing tab in Tills.
