Merchant Local Server

The Merchant Local Server is a program that runs on site so that when a till puts a sale on hold, the Local Server receives the held sale and stores it locally on site. This is so if the comms go down at a site, we still have held sale functionality, ideal for restaurants!

The program is called MerchantLocalServer.exe installed on a pc at each site (this can be a till if required).

Only table, held and interrupted transactions are stored locally. Laybys and customer orders must still be stored on the server.

You can monitor whether MLS is running properly at a store using Till Control. See here for details.
