Price And Stock Ticket Batches

There are two types of ticket batches used by the system - price ticket batches and stock ticket batches.

Price ticket batches are printed whenever there is a change of price. These are the types of batches created by the end of day ticket generating processes and when you press the Range button on the Items screen. The number of tickets printed is always fixed. If you have set the item up to print two tickets, anytime there is a price change you will get two tickets. The format of the generated ticket is based on the label code assigned to the item.

Stock ticket batches generate a ticket for each unit of stock. These types of batches are usually used whenever the tickets are attached to the physical item, for example for serial number tracking. These types of batches are generated when you press the Tickets button in Goods Receipt and Stock Adjustments. The format of the generated ticket is based on the Stock Label setting assign in System Settings.

The Print Tickets process allows you to generate either type of ticket batch by simply checking the Tickets For SOH option on or off.
