This task is used to import items from a comma-delimited (CSV) data file. This is useful when you are first setting up your system. You can quickly key items into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, which can then be saved as a CSV file, or you can import data from other systems. The task will create item, cost, sell and IPN details. It will not create associated details such as suppliers, departments, and so on.
