APN

This file contains the EAN/UPC/PLUs associated with an item. The word APN is short for Australian Product Number and shows the heritage of the system!). The APNs are linked via the IPN. Since multiple RANGE records can have the same IPN, a single APN can be shared by these records. This means that an APN only needs to be entered against an item once and it will automatically be linked to all other occurrences of the item in the RANGE table.
